DCL23 Grand Prix Split 2 Draft Selection

Attention all aspiring drone racers! The DCL23 Grand Prix Split 2 Draft Selection is your chance to join the prestigious Drone Champions League and race alongside the world’s finest pilots.

On August 6th, the DCL23 Draft Selection opens its doors to all passionate racers. During this event, DCL team’s rosters will increase by two pilots, creating additional space for talented individuals like you.

The Draft Qualification will take place in DCL – The Game, starting on Sunday 6th of August at 12pm UTC for 24 hours.

The event is a limited attempts race – pilots can train for as long as they want within the event period but can only submit 5 attempts to record their best time. 

The road to becoming a part of DCL23 Split 2 is a thrilling one. Aspiring racers will compete on meticulously designed tracks, aiming to secure a spot among the top 50 on the leaderboard. The pressure will be intense, but remember that this is your moment to shine!

Teams are allowed to trade pilots after the picks are announced with a predefined trading window.

Teams can optionally add two additional pilots to their rosters for Split 2. 

Teams have until the 17th of August to submit any additions to their rosters.  

In an exciting twist, two pilots will be guaranteed a spot through our Wildcard team. This special provision ensures that exceptional talents get the recognition they deserve, regardless of their background or experience.

Teams can choose to make arrangements with any pilots that are free to join a team; these pilots can come from the top 50 pilots in the Split 2 Draft or from elsewhere. 

For those who make it to the top 50, the top players (based on times recorded) on each platform (Steam,  Xbox, PS4) will be issued an online form (via email) to complete. This form will guide the team owners with their player evaluation. They are looking for pilots who are fast and reliable on any racetrack, but also in search of those who have good technical knowledge, a grasp of English and are comfortable in front of the camera. The form is also a “get to know you” opportunity where you can show your personality and experience/achievements outside of DCL.

If you have filled in this form in previous Draft Selections, you will need to do so again.

IMPORTANT: Upon completing the form, you accept that you agree to be picked by ANY team. You are NOT allowed to sign a contract with a team BEFORE the picking process takes place unless you have been “free picked”. Pilots doing this will be disqualified from the Draft Selection.
