DCL Statement on the Russia-Ukraine Conflict

DCL condemns violence and discrimination and supports the IOC's stance on the rights of athletes in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.

The Drone Champions League has always prided itself on being an organization rooted in sportsmanship, tolerance, and building a community. We condemn any violence and will not be associated with it. However, we will not discriminate against any pilots or teams who share these values with us, no matter their nationality.

We’re all here to share a passion, not to engage in conflict. Further more, The Drone Champions League will follow the example of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Here is a short excerpt from the statement of the IOC:

Respect the rights of all athletes to be treated without any discrimination, in accordance with the Olympic Charter. Governments must not decide which athletes can participate in which competition and which athletes cannot.

No athlete should be prevented from competing just because of their passport.”

We hope that this statement reinforces our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all pilots, regardless of their background. Let us unite through our love for drone racing and continue to build a community that values sportsmanship and respect above all else.
