EXCITING DRONE RACING WEEKEND IN THE HEART OF EUROPE
PENULTIMATE STOP OF THE DRONE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IN BRUSSELS.
There is always something going on around Mont des Arts, also known as Kunstberg. Thousands of visitors flocked there last weekend, not only because of the beautiful view. The Drone Champions League stopped in Brussels from 21 to 22 September. Spectacular races were inevitable. For the second time, the Kunstberg was the venue for the world’s largest live Drone Racing series. More than 30 pilots competed in exciting races on both days. In the end, NEXXBlades Racing dominated both race days.
Friday
1st NEXXBlades Racing (GBR) 250 points
2. Rotorama (CZE) 220 points
3rd Quad Force One (USA) 200 points
Saturday
1st NEXXBlades Racing (GBR) 250 points
2nd Quad Force One (USA) 220 points
3rd Rotorama (CZE) 200 points
In the overall standings, Rotorama continues to lead with 1620 points, closely followed by NEXXBlades with 1600 points. In third place is Quad Force One with 1550 points. The next and last stop of the DCL will be in Rapperswil at Lake Zurich from 11 to 13 October 2018.
